November 1, 2009, Toronto, Ontario—Today, Open Systems Group Limited and Fibernetics entered into an agreement that will allow Open Systems Group to act as the first value-added reseller of the Fibernetics' business telephone systems for the Greater Toronto area.
The Fibernetics product is an innovation that addresses a growing need at small and medium-sized businesses to obtain access to first-class telecommunications and telephony services that have only been accessible to larger companies. Fibernetics is using state-of-the-art technologies to bring down the price point for digital hosted PBX, internet and phone services. Now, smaller enterprises can afford capabilities that were previously only available in high-end, high cost PBX systems.
And while the Fibernetics solution relies on “VOIP” standards, it is not “VOIP” in the traditional sense. To implement just a VOIP solution at this time would have been a “Me Too” approach. Instead, Fibernetics did its homework and has reinvented VOIP to eliminate the problems of the competing technologies and to make it highly functional and highly reliable so that it can be used in a business environment.
“We are excited about the opportunity to work with Fibernetics to bring this solution to the Toronto area”, says Barry Gane, newly appointed Vice President of Sales at Open Systems Group. “Until now, businesses have been reticent to jump into digital systems because of problems that were encountered with earlier implementations. Fibernetics has been thorough in addressing each and every shortcoming of previous approaches and has come up with a package and an offering that provides an outstanding value proposition. This time we have it right, and sales are growing rapidly as customers catch on to how much they can save!”
